Teen Summer Program

The Essex Youth Centre has newly revamped its summer youth program. In the past, we have focused primarily on youth in their elementary years, however, for the summer of 2008 the focus is on teens. The Essex Youth Centre has developed a laidback atmosphere where teens can DROP IN at any time between the hours of 9am to 11pm. The Centre’s resources include, big screen TVs, satellite, Computer/Gaming room Nintendo Wii, Playstation2 (Rock Band, Guitar Hero and More), Arcade, Pool, Ping Pong and Foosball. In addition, the Essex Youth Centre has a fully operation kitchen where teen can purchase snacks and full meals at cost. Along with the new drop in concept, the centre has also incorporated several organized events such as, a Paintball Wilderness adventure, Trip to the Van’s Warp Tour, a day at Cedar Point and many more.
