Whats At the EYC

Essex Youth Centre has developed a laid-back atmosphere where teens can drop-in between the hours posted on our website. EYC’s resources include a big-screen TV, satellite, computer lab, gaming room, Nintendo Wii, X Box 360, arcade, pool, ping-pong and foosball tables. In addition, EYC has a fully operational kitchen where teens can purchase snacks and meals at cost. To access our facility, members must sign-in however and be respectful to one another.

When the school year is done, EYC has a Summer Program for students. Activities and trips are planned and the centre also helps youth in finding jobs. The Helping Hands program is designed to give students work by having them assist seniors and people with disabilities: Examples include helping with things like lawn work and painting.
